Pleasant Hill Vineyards

The Corders - Ross, Sandy, Nick, and Anne bought the Athens, Ohio property and began renovations in 2012.  Previously a horse farm with rolling pastures, it provided the perfect setting. The vision of opening a boutique winery began in 2005 when Ross and Sandy had the opportunity to learn the wine business hands-on from Lee and Joy Wyse, owners of Rainbow Hills Winery in Coshocton, Ohio. 

 

We embraced this experience and Lee and Joy were outstanding tutors.

We worked in the vineyards, tasting room, and winery.  The experience of sharing good wine and conversation with customers brought us great joy.  So the vision began. The beautiful red blend wine we serve is named for Leland Wyse.

 

Their son Nick left his construction business behind and he and his wife Anne, a Registered Nurse, joined this business venture in 2012. His artistic talents can be seen everywhere and Anne's culinary talents add to your experience.
